I second that. With the final deadline a week away, everyone's anxiety is peaking. So, let us avoid any contentious conversations which is insensitive to what people are suffering rn.

I was notified just now that I was moved off the Rutgers waiting list and offered admission! For all still waiting, things could still happen today and a few days after!

Has anyone heard anything from UMich regarding their waitlist?

I hope many people received good news in the past days or will still receive them.

I can just say that my program offered/will offer 5 waitlisted students a spot, which equals the number of admitted students that did not take up their place. So it wasn't all too bad for everyone involved in the end. Stay hopeful! 🙂

Which program are you currently doing your PhD? It is good that they would be able to offer spot for 5 students.

Is there anyone who has been waitlisted at UT Austin Political Science PhD program? There were many PhD students who have been waitlisted there and I wonder whether there was any possibility for waitlisted applicants to ultimately get into the program.

I just got to know that University of Michigan’s waitlist has officially been discontinued and they would not be making any more offers. I am obviously devastated, but I am happy to have a programme to go to! Sorry, I wish I had better, mode optimistic news, but this is the update! I wish you guys all the best! University of Minnesota, here I come!
