It appears that last year some of their acceptances went out around this time, so I'm curious to see whether anyone around here is an applicant. coffeem8 Posted January 28, 2011 Share Posted January 28, 2011 Thank you. I was accepted to UCLA's women's studies ph.d. program. I applied mostly to women's and gender studies program, but since UMN has such a wonderful group of feminist scholars, I thought the American Studies program was a good fit for my interests, too. Good luck! I'll post here when and if I hear anything from American Studies. I'm sure they'll be contacting accepted people soon! (PS-- a lot of schools are replying later than usual due to a general increase in applications this year. Lots of people with no jobs = more people trying to get into grad school.)
