Waitlist question

First time posting, just wondering if anyone knows if you're supposed to respond to waitlist emails? Like with a "thank you for letting me know" or something?

Are all rejections sent at once? OSU rejects went out but I still haven’t gotten one. Am I delusional for thinking I might be getting a waitlist later this week? I know cnf comes later than other genres
