Not yet. I’m tired of refreshing. But people started to get the result an hour ago, with last names earlier on alphabet. They posted on Reddit.

Me neither - unclear but it seems like the results have not come out of CIHR yet. Seems like only NSERC and SSHRC results are out. Last name M.

I received FRQS (Ranked 1st in my committee) and did not get CGS-D from CIHR (Ranked 453/525)... One of the viewers seemed critical that most of my awards and talks were local and claimed it was not clear what I did to contribute to being listed as a co-author on several conference presentations (based on CCV) even though there's no info to input specific contributions for that, just if you are an author.

I'm so confused guys! I didn't get the email from CIHR yet but logged in anyway. I can see my reviews (if weighted equally my calculated avg. is 4.375). BUT the results / decision page are not available. That said I *can* see a different section that says "Respond to Offer of Award". Does this mean I got it? Why aren't the decision/result documents available? What is going on? Surname starts with "J" btw.

On the first page of your notice of decision, it should say "approved" or "not approved" next to "Decision".

 

Edit: Oh I didn't see you said you don't have that. On the side of the page, under "My Applications", see if there is a section saying "Check Application Status"

Yes I have "Check Application Status" and when I click on it I can see two tasks: View Results/Reviews and Respond to Offer of Award. But under "Results/Reviews" there's no decision and when I click "View/Print All Documents for Application ________" it just makes a PDF with Reviewer 1 and Reviewer 2 feedback but no decision. When I click on "Respond to Offer of Award" it says "The Offer of Awards document is not available. Please contact the Committee contact listed in the support." but then seems to give me the option to accept it?

That's so strange. You might need to wait until you receive the email. They seem to be rolling out the responses.

I'm just dying to know if the "Respond to Offer of Award" button only shows up if you get it or if it's default and removed in case of rejection. Ahhhh what's taking so long this is so stressful.  

Anyway, congrats on FRQS and sorry about CIHR. Hopefully you can apply again next year!

I received the award in the first batch of emails, score was 4.48 and last name starting with L

I got an email at 12:35pm EDT (not sure if its the first batch), and received the award. My last name is at the end of the alphabet and my average score was 4.53.

Any chance you can share the Total # in competition and Total # approved for Committee A, please? And if you'd be so kind to share your application rank / percentage rank within the committee that would be even kinder. Due to some sort of technical glitch I'm still in the dark and these stats would give me a better idea of where I stand as I wait for my CIHR Support ticket to be processed.

Not the person you replied to, but I had the same stats as them.

Committee A had 525 in the competition with 145 approved.

Ugh it seems like the system just randomly got buggy for me and the support team will address it in five business days. I still have no idea if I got it or not.  

Really hoping someone else who got around a 4.375 could chime in with their ranking # so I can better gauge what my chances are. I wonder if maybe I'm on the cusp of the waitlist and they're just waiting for people to decline so they can release more results? The suspense is killing me ahhhhh.

Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone is in a similar position to me/can give me any clarity here. I heard back from CIHR, and it says on my decision letter that the top 113 candidates were approved in my committee, and that I ranked 109th (rating: 4.38). My decision letter says that I was not approved, though. I am fine to accept this result, i'm just a bit confused about what makes this possible-- is the total # approved not the same as the number of individuals funded? Has anyone else experienced this?

That sounds like an error, hopefully. Maybe try contacting support? Have you looked at your Results Letter in addition to your Notice of Decision letter to see if there's a discrepancy? I'm in the same committee, and I initially thought I hadn't been funded because there was a "not approved" at the bottom of my letter. However, that was in reference to an "Additional Funding Opportunity" I had applied to, and the Primary Competition award was approved. I'm guessing you've scanned your decision letter in detail but I figured I'd mention my error just in case you could have made the same one!
