Ittybittyone Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Well, now that I have rejections from all four of my top choices, I am attempting to get back on my feet a make a new plan of attack. Everyone explained to me how difficult it is to get into grad school and to send out applications to every possible school I considered but, WOW! I am looking at all of this in a new light and I need your wisdom. What do you think is the best course of action to increase my opportunities for next year? I have a the opportunity to work as full time intern with a company that I love. Should I postpone graduation and continue another year at college? I am studying abroad now should I not come back to the US? Should I interview with the schools next year? Should I reapply to those schools that turned me down this year? My gpa 3.87, gre scores well above those requested, references were from really strong professionals and professors, critiques of my portfolio were excellent, volunteer time and trips, etc., what else are they looking for? How have you approached the applications if you have had to do this a second time around? Any and all suggestions will be more than appreciated. Thanks for the advice in advance.
