wlugrad Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Hi guys, I am in my last year of M.Sc. in Chemistry in a small university in Canada (Laurier if you heard about it lol). I really want to change the scenery and pursue my PhD in biophysics (say like membrane protein folding/membrane protein dynamics/ structure and functions of proteins) in a very big university. My record has been ok so far with NSERC CGS M and OGS. I am applying for NSERC PGSD this year and already been forwarded to the national stage. But I just realized that the system in other country (USA and England) is so different and the deadline of application has been passed and the way the funding works is even different from those in Canada. What can I do at the moment? (I emailed a few profs but no reply or a negative reply Anybody out there has a good suggestion? Thank you so much guys
