Looking for legiment Graduate schools for audio engineering in New York City and Los Angles Area

Hey everyone I am in my last year of college and I am looking at graduate schools in the music technology field in the New York City and Los Angles Area. The program I am looking to get into the most is the NYU Stienhardt Music technology program but the problem is my GPA is low with a 2.74 I think for my final semester I should be able to pull it up to at least a 2.9. I am communications major with a concentration in digital media technology. I have been going to military school for the past 4 years but I am not commissioning and I do have a music background. Pretty much everyone in my family has gone to NYU like that wont help. Of course there is alot more stuff I have done. If the answer is no I cant get in what are good legitimate schools I can look at. SETA from I heard is corrupt so forget them.
