Hi everyone,

I just discovered this website and realized that a lot of you already got some response from the universities.

I am really anxious - and I am the only one from my friends who tries to apply to the US so I didn't has any information for what is going on with others.

SO - I have one question only:

Do you think that this is normal that you all got responses and for me NOTHING? Could it be that international students get the information later?

I read in the "results" page that people get invitations for interviews at February - but there is no chance that I could leave Israel so soon.

Thanks!

Hey!

So I'm an American student who's heard back officially from one institution. They told me that they hadn't even looked at international students' applications and that the graduate school just sent them the US students first. So don't worry! If this school is like the others, the American students probably are hearing back before the international students.

I hope this helps.

actually it depends. im applying for spanish and portuguese (about half the applicants are international) and usually our departments answer to all applicants at the same time.

Hi! Welcome to the forum! It is a pleasure to greet someone from Israel!

Check the Results page: are there reported acceptances/ rejections from your programmes at your schools? (check the date carefully: this year?) Most humanities and arts programmes have not started reporting any decisions yet. I am not sure about Psychology.

Even if there are any reports from your programmes, it does not necessarily mean you are out. Sometimes, there is a significant time gap between acceptances to the same programme.

Thanks! I really hope so :)

It will be very helpful to hear the same announcement from someone who tries to apply to social psych as well...

Thank you for your response!

I checked the exact programs that I'm interested in, and found results from each of them...

I think that I'll start eating my nails until I'll get some news!!!!
