Low Expectations is Better Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Hi, Does any one know more about Economics PhD at Claremont Graduate University? The program don't appear on any ranking. Looking website it seems that there are few professors but I now that they take professors from other Claremont colleges. Maybe Neuroecomics is good (Paul Zak is there), but what about other areas?. I'd appreciate any more information. Thanks
sgordon Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Yea I actually have the same question. I got accepted there with a 15% tuition waiver which is pretty bad since it's pretty expensive. I've heard there isn't much funding available. I don't know though...

Low Expectations is Better Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 I'm still with no news. People use to say "no news is good news." Perhaps it doesn't apply to this situation.
Low Expectations is Better Posted March 8, 2011 Author Posted March 8, 2011 I haven't heard anything from them, is this a implicit rejection? Should I write to deparment or admissions?
Low Expectations is Better Posted March 8, 2011 Author Posted March 8, 2011 Well, I finally was admitted. Eeeer, yes, its funding sucks. It's pretty expensive and now I have to get some funding from other sources.
