mic12345 Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Hello, does anybody have an idea (or any experience) if it is possible to miss one year of study without loosing the student/admittance status? Would I need to apply for that? What would happen if I just don't enroll into any courses for the semester - would i automatically be kicked out? Thanks for any replies.
iwantmyPhD Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 are you currently in a PhD program with funding? I am confused. Most PhD programs require you file for a leave of absence and there are often limitations on how long you can be gone and for what reasons.
mic12345 Posted April 3, 2008 Author Posted April 3, 2008 I have been admitted for a postgraduate master program, but there is a personal reason why I would have to start the program a year later. Of course I don't want to have to apply again, so I am looking for other options.
