Hello,

does anybody have an idea (or any experience) if it is possible to miss one year of study without loosing the student/admittance status? Would I need to apply for that? What would happen if I just don't enroll into any courses for the semester - would i automatically be kicked out?

Thanks for any replies.

are you currently in a PhD program with funding? I am confused. Most PhD programs require you file for a leave of absence and there are often limitations on how long you can be gone and for what reasons.

I have been admitted for a postgraduate master program, but there is a personal reason why I would have to start the program a year later. Of course I don't want to have to apply again, so I am looking for other options.
