Hi all,

I recently applied for the graduate program in Economics in USC and being from another continent I am not familiar with the concept of semester hours and units, so I hope users here can shed some light on this.

The USC Economics website says "A total of 32 units are required for the M.A." I googled around a bit what this means for the total duration of the program, but since answers vary between 6 months and 2 years, I am unsure how many years (realistically) it will take to graduate (and thus, how much it will cost me).

I can't really find any specific information on this on USC's website, so if anyone has any experience with USC grad programs or grad programs in general, I would really appreciate it if you could help me out.

Thanks in advance.
