Hey folks, just wanted to get your opinion.

A few weeks prior to going to the university wide open house, I let the program director know that I was coming to campus and to send along my contact information to anyone that might want to chat with me. Heard nothing back. Tomorrow is the open house, should I write them another short note to remind them that I'm on campus? I also would like to come up and see the department as opposed to creepily skulking around the building. :) Thoughts?

I am sorry. I am not clear on this. Have you been admitted or have they requested you to attend? Is this an invited event or open to all applicants?

It's an open invitation to all students with a session set aside for prospective graduate students.

In this situation, if there is still time, I guess I would drop a phone call to the Director of Graduate Studies or whichever staff members is the graduate coordinator (or whatever they call it) and just clarify your attendance on the phone, making sure there is nothing else you need to do.
