I've suddenly been seized by a new source of anxiety -- what if decision letters get mailed (or have been mailed) to my home address rather than my US mailing address (where I live)? I'm an international student, so it'll take at least 2 weeks for any letter to reach my home address, and there's no one living there right now who I can ask to keep an eye out for me or let me know either.

They send stuff to the mailing address, right??? Did it happen the other way round for anyone? Thanks...

what did you put in as your "current address"? They always mail to the current address unless you specify otherwise. Also, you can always confirm/change address on the app website/with the department.

Anywhere it said current or mailing address, I put my US mailing address. I only put in my home address where it specifically said "permanent address" or something like that. I know logically it should be fine, but anything and everything is worrying me now...

no need to worry.. they SHOULD send the letter to your mailing address. i am an int'l student too. and if they messed up and sent the letter to my home address, it can take months (postal service is wayy wayy horrible in my country) to reach my home.

At least your mailman isn't losing your mail. We've had plenty of mail lost. Got our water disconnected last month because we never received the bill. Swear those idiots are illiterate.

I'm worried that I'll get accepted into a program via mail, but not find out. That actual scenario caused me to call a program last week, that unfortunately informed me i didn't get in. But, I guess better than worrying...
