Hi, let's discuss two questions regarding the Ph.D. thesis

-- Assume you have a joint work A with someone else, in which your contribution is B, and A/B is your co-authors' contribution. Does it professional to include A in your thesis or you should only include B in your thesis?

-- We know that for any paper submitted for publication, the results in the paper should be "complete", but does a Ph.D thesis have to be complete? Does "partial results" can be add into the thesis. For example, you only proved some results in a special case, but do not have results for general case.

Please share your professionals. Thanks!
