Hello,

I am applying to online Master;s degrees in SLP. The University of South Carolina offers a master in communication disorders. I was wondering if this was worth applying to if I want to someday work as a SLP?Can you still get a license in speech pathology with this masters program?

Usually a master's in Communication Disorders is the same thing as an MS-SLP or MA-SLP, but I'd check with the dept to be sure.

Communication Disorders=Speech Language Hearing Sciences=Speech Language Pathology

They're synonymous. As long as the program is accredited by ASHA, it doesn't matter what they call it.
