Hi,

I have been rejected this year for the semester in fall'11. I was wondering if we can apply again. In another words, how do they fill in the seats of the candidates who chose to study at another university? As far as I know, they don't have a wait list or anything.

In my admittance letter it was said to reply by mid-march, as there are people on the waitlist.

Actually, I just got a reply saying that they don't have a wait list. Perhaps this is valid for only the Computer Science department. I guess you applied for another dept.

But, I don't know how they plan to fill the empty seats.

Isn't the ETHZ professor based, that is, the professor personally decides who he wants to hire and proceeds?
