meita01 Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Hello if someone could respond to this posting I would greatly appreciate it. I am thinking of attending UT's MSW Program but as an out of state student I am worried about being able to afford tuition there. From their website I've gathered that out of state students are eligible to receive assistantships and resident assistance/tuition waivers (if certain criteria are met). Here are my questions: -how available are assistantships (specifically RA positions) to MSW students?-how likely is it for a out of state student to be granted a scholarship of $1000 or more?-how do most out of state students pay for/afford tuition?-do you know of any MSW students who were awarded internal fellowships?-in general, how easy/difficult is it for out of state students to receive tuition assistance and/or tuition waivers? Thank you!
