nadimc Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Can you rate the chances of fresh undergrad going directly into a graduate program in Financial Engineering (in the likes of Berkeley, Columbia, Toronto, Michigan etc)? How important is work experience in that domain?
tdpoets Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 i know some of my peers who get into berkley with no work experience last April.
pratikkothari12 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 By No Work Exp - Do you mean no internships too..? I ask just because it's really tough convincing the adcom of your interests in that case. On the other hands, many of the financial engineering programs have around 70% class WITHOUT work experience (Of course there are exeptions like Stanford GSB's program). So, I would say, you have an excellent chance.
