How do I know I am on a waitlist?

may be. may be not. i haven't heard from few schools i've applied to either, and i am assuming those are silent-rejections. which is to say, they won't tell you that you are rejected until you ask them. but i could be wrong too. so, it's best to email the program and see what's going on.

I contacted the schools and have got no response. One said they were still sending out admissions decisions.

I have given up on the two schools which haven't said anything. At the end of this month if I haven't heard anything back I am going to ask to withdraw my application. Also never going to apply to those schools again. I have wasted enough time and money that I no longer care.
