Adam0010 Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Hi all, I just got accepted into a EE master Program in UCR. Although I've applied for fellowship, they didn't mention anything in the letter. I want to figure it out whether I got anything. What is the best way for me to find out? Actually, I don't understand how fellowship, scholarship, and assistant-ship work. Might anyone tell me? Can I apply these later? I am a California resident, and applied for fafsa. What can I get from fafsa? Thank you in advance!
greentechgirl Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I think schools usually tell you when they send the admissions letter if you are guaranteed funding. I don't know anything about UCR, but if I were you I'd call/email and ask to be sure. When you call you can also ask about other funding resources or possibilities for paid research or teaching. You will probably have to do a lot of the legwork yourself in terms of looking for scholarships to apply for and contacting professors to work with. You will probably only get stafford loans from fafsa. That's pretty general info, but I hope it helps! Hi all, I just got accepted into a EE master Program in UCR.
