CPol Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 (edited) Hi all, I was wondering if anyone out there was planning on enrolling at UNC this fall (Masters or PhD) or coming to the welcome weekend. I'm deciding between UMich and UNC right now. Actually leaning pretty strongly in favor of UNC, just seeing if anyone else had decided to go. Edited March 9, 2011 by CPol

fangsout Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I'm seriously considering UNC. I'm interested in gpu programming and visualization, and they're really strong in graphics. I'm not attending the visitation weekend but I may visit the weekend of April 8th.
SiraRaven Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I'm attending the visitation weekend! Currently debating mostly between UNC and UMass, so definitely looking forward to checking UNC out.

Same here, although I am mostly interested in GPU global illumination (and possibly quantum graphics processing, once the chips are available). When is the visitation weekend for computer science, anyway? I can't seem to find that information on the UNC website. Edited March 11, 2011 by DarkNeutron
