wildegrass Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Which program? I'm waiting too has anyone on here heard from UT Austin yet? i emailed the grad coordinator and was told all decisions will be made by mid-to-late april.
dogbert Posted March 21, 2011 Author Posted March 21, 2011 Which program? I'm waiting too Oh, sorry. I didn't include that. I applied for the MSIS program. i can't believe we have to wait another whole month!
theodidactus Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 yeah, all the grad schools are yanking us around this year, and it's really uncool. How can we realistically be expected to make life altering decisions within a week!
Laure Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Late April? Good Christ. I applied, but I'm leaning towards other schools now... I'll already been planning my courses by then! I'll be sure to post if/when I hear anything, though.
Laure Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Just checked the application status online to see that I'd been rejected. I didn't receive an email and they state that no letter will be sent. So if you're waiting on them check the site - it doesn't seem they notify you another way. Good luck to everyone else!
dogbert Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 (edited) sorry to hear that, laure. good luck on your other applications! my status still reads "forwarded to grad committee." i guess they really are making some people wait until the end of april. jeez. Edited April 1, 2011 by dogbert
thered Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Same here, I've applied to the summer 2011 session for MS-ECE. They should consider the fact that international students have to go through the immigration process as well after being accepted which takes at least a month.
