OlgaK Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Hello and help! I've been accepted to SAIS and the Elliott School in DC and am trying to decide where to go...GWU is offering me good aid but SAIS is giving me no money. What are the pros and cons of both? I'm tempted because SAIS is a really good school with excellent contacts, but don't want the possibility of having major loans and no job prospects after graduation. I don't have a lot in my savings and won't be able to work right away while in graduate school because I'm in rehab from a surgery. Any ideas on which is a better choice? Thanks so much!
secretly_yes Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 If finding a job after graduation is your main concern, I vote for GWU. They are both excellent schools and really good at placing people in good jobs. Go to the school that will make you have less loans when you graduate. Unless you really want to work in Europe, then go to SAIS. They have good Europe contacts, from what I understand.
