Hi all,

I am starting confused about which one to choose, in terms of both academic reputation and location, it seems that i cannot have the cake and eat it. Neither of them have both advantages in MPA(specialization: NPO or PA). Maybe UW-seattle gets the lead now, but anyway, UGA and IUB is highly ranked in USNEWS, which can partly prove their reputation in MPA education. Plus, GSPIA also has its thunder in D.C. intership. So, It may be inappropriate to let you guys choose for me, but can you give me some advice in this stuff? Thank you so much and wish you luck!

I'm not trying to scare people off from Evans or insult the quality of their program with this post, but one thing everyone/anyone considering Evans needs to really think about is all this talk about the budget being cut from UW and Evans conceivably being consolidated into another school. If this happened, it would definitely hurt the Evans brand on your MPA degree, but it could also conceivably diminish all of the resources that Evans has to offer in terms of internships, career placements, etc. Here are a couple more articles about the subject if you're interested:

I'm not saying anyone should or shouldn't go to Evans, I'm just saying this needs to be factored into any decision that gets made, and I'm not sure a lot of people (including applicants such as myself) were even aware of it until recently.

Thanks for your reminding. I will check this information and refirm it. The news said the result might be outcome later, so I will track the news.
