adenning09 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 I am applying for a summer internship and am providing my CV with the application. I was accepted to a masters program for this coming fall and was wondering if I should include this in my updated CV or not. If so, what is the best way to convey that I have not yet started the program but will be soon?
LJK Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Definitely put it on. You can put something like 'Starting Fall 2011' as the date for the program. My CV currently has an 'anticipated' graduation date of my current MS program - just find a way to indicate it hasn't started yet and you are all set. Also, you could mention how the internship will benefit you as you start your master's program in the fall in your cover letter - this will make it more clear and it a connection you should probably try to make anyway.
