walrus314 Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Hey, everyone, here's a great tool I found that is much better than the competition in stacking up applicants for different programs. It looks comprehensive for law, biz, medical, and grad programs. It looks like it just needs some data, then it could really show some results. It's also free and anonymous. http://www.graduatetestscores.com
USF_Rockstar Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Thanks, I like this site. Prospective law school applicants have a ton of resources online, it's nice to see a site that provides information for other programs.
Minnesotan Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Unfortunately GRE and GPA don't mean as much as some people give them credit for. Sure, you could get cut off in the initial rounds with poor scores, but a good GRE or GPA won't get you in automatically. The only sure-thing in this area is that some universities use GRE scores as the sole criterion for dispursing merit-based awards.
yoshikai Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Good find, this looks like a promising site. It'll be even better when they get more data points; thanks for the link!
walrus314 Posted November 16, 2008 Author Posted November 16, 2008 from my searches of grad programs, they don't seem to have a good grasp of the quantitative data of their program, as in GPA, GRE, years of experience as well as demographic data. i recognize that my application is holistic but these things would definitely matter.
