Melanthia07 Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I am currently deciding between BU and NYU for a M.Sc. in Speech Pathology/Communication Disorders. I attended the BU admitted students' open house this weekend and came away with a positive feeling about their program. However, I am also drawn to the study abroad programs at NYU as well as the location (I live in NYC now, so I would not need to move). Does anyone have thoughts on NYU's program in Communication Disorders? I feel like I have a good sense of BU's program, but I am trying to measure it against NYU. Could anyone share any positive or negative experiences with either school? I've very torn between the two and would sincerely appreciate any feedback on the programs. Thank you in advance!

I'm not sure about NYU but I also visited BU this weekend and absolutely loved it. I thought it was really incredible how much personal attention you get from the professors since it is such a small program and their clinical connections are amazing. In terms of ranking BU wins out by a lot but the study abroad programs at NYU do seem really neat. Just some random thoughts I had : ) Good luck making a decision, the good part is that you have two great schools that want you!
