lololomay Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 (edited) Hey, Just wanted to hear from anyone in Caltech's EE Master's program regarding funding. I got in, and they cannot "guarantee" funding for a master's only student, but say that almost everyone gets a TA position. What are my chances of getting one? I have a somewhat atypical background in that I have an undergraduate degree in mathematics, was just admitted to the USPTO (passed the patent bar), and am getting my JD in June. I figured I'd have a better chance getting a TA position in one of the intellectual property law in technology or mathematics courses. Does anyone have any insight to share? (Can't really afford to accrue anymore debt given my law school education) Thanks! Lauren Accepted: UW Caltech Rejected: UTexas--Austin UIllinois-Urbana Waiting: MIT Edited April 7, 2011 by lololomay
