Hello! I accepted to Michigan State University yesterday and I am really excited about it. I haven't heard anything about funding yet though. I am wondering is it okay to have accepted to MSU yet still stay on my other school's waitlists? Or do I HAVE to tell them that want to be taken off of their waitlist before April 15th? Most likely I will attend MSU I just would like to stay on the waitlists in case I was accepted off of them and got better funding. Thank you!

Hello,

I also applied to MSU and called about the status of my application, and the lady said that she would work on the notification emails Friday and Monday, when she was at the office. I'm curious as to how you got your acceptance on a Sunday?

People,

when you ACCEPT offers, it means you INTEND TO GO THERE. (Unless something horrible happens, or something like that.) Not that you're still on the market. They're counting on your commitment. So, no, you should not stay on waitlists.
