JiuJitsuen18 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Hi guys, I've tried researching each of these programs, Yeshiva's Mental Health Counseling Program and Fordham's and I'm still having a hard time deciding which to go to. If I go to Yeshiva, they'll have a definite interview for their Psy D. for me eventually. I previously applied to both Yeshiva and Fordham for a Clinical Psychology Psy D and Counseling Psychology PhD respectively. I was interviewed at Fordham but not Yeshiva. I want to eventually end up being a clinical therapist, or a counselor with either a PhD or a PsyD. Does anyone have any info on these respective programs? I'm thinking that studying Mental Health Counseling will give me the kind of clinical experience that I have never been able to obtain as an undergrad. The research experience that I have and my GPA are pretty good, it's just the clinical experience I need in order to be accepted into a clinical/counseling psychology program eventually. -Mike
