Shafchenko Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 After being rejected by NYU for their Economics MA, I received an email today offering me the chance to apply to the 'John W. Draper Interdisciplinary Master’s Program in Humanities and Social Thought'. Simply put, I have to do nothing more than supply a 350-500 word statement of purpose in order for them to consider me. The problem is, I have no idea what this course is. The descriptions are very vague and it seems in no way related to economics or my academic background. I'm pretty sure I won't be the only one to get this having found on the forum. Does anyone have any information on this course, or did anyone take up the offer from last year?

selza Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 Hey, I've been rejected also by NYU - MA in Economics program Then I got the email from Draper Program. Reading about the program, there's no way I can take it since my background and work are related to monetary economics. Hence, I already accepted other Economics program offer.
