nobs Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Could someone tell me the strengths of 3-year master of landscape architecture programs in Cornell University, Texas A & M, and University of Georgia? Based on what I read, I think Cornell is great in historic archaeology and landscape preservation. Texas A & M would be advantageous if I want to concentrate on landscape designs for public health and urban planning. University of Georgia is pretty comprehensive with large and diverse faculty and courses. Is there anything to add or modify?? I’m interested in designing of parks/school ground/college campus. Which program do you think is the most preferable in terms of pursuing what I want to study?? Also, it would be great if you can give me the information on how each program helps international students find a job in architectural firms. Thanks,
Brown Davis Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 According to me Texas A&M University. Landscape Programs at Texas A&M University is one of the oldest programs of this nature in the nation. The university endeavors to improve and sustain the built and natural environments through the discovery and dissemination of new knowledge, education and community outreach. The MLA curriculum includes the areas of erosion control, plant material, history and various design, construction and planning components of the field.
