Anyone know weather the college of professional studies in Uortheastern University has a good reputation, in terms of quality of education, and how prospective employers view it? I'm thinking of doing a MS in leadership there but don't want to waste money and time if its no good. Any insight would be great ? BTW, if i study in there, can I have a chance to transferred to the business school?

I am a current CPS (MS in Leadership) student and can opine on this generally as the "Northeastern" brand obviously is on the diploma (along with "College of Professional Studies"). My experience is that most HR generalists don't look beyond the Northeastern name. I have had an above average experience with my cohort group and Professors (especially as being located outside of the Boston area. It is noteworthy that most of the faculty are adjuncts (with a few tenured professors from other schools of NEU now and then), my experience is that they are very proficient, accessible, and dedicated to the teaching/learning experience. However they may lack the "big name" appeal and publishing/research background of a good tenured Prof (for a MS I don't really mind though) My goal is to continue with an EdD or Phd in late 2012 (with Northeastern as a clear candidate). I have yet to learn the perception of CPS among academia in general and will be facing this in the upcoming application process.
