University of Illinois - Chicago (UIC)

I've been accepted to Columbia, U of Denver and U of Washington (which I will most likely attend), but three months later I am still waiting to hear from UIC. They lost one of my transcripts and found it again 6 weeks after my file was considered "complete" and have been giving me the run around about my file. Has anyone else had problems with UIC? Still waiting for an admissions decision or financial aid? It would mean instate tuition for me, even though U of Washington is a better fit. Anyone deciding to attend or know anyone already in the program who is having good experiences so far? I'm beginning to wonder if this school is worth it.
