ahalliday Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 I was just formally accepted off the wait-list about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I'm really excited to get started in the fall and am wondering if anyone else on this website has been recently accepted into the I/O Psychology program at UWO. It would be great to meet some of the people we will be working / learning with for the following few years. If we get enough people on here we should all meet sometime before classes start. I recently graduated from UWO from their undergrad honors psychology program so I can answer any questions about the city and campus and school in general to the best of my knowledge and ability. It would also be nice to get some veterans of the program as well. Hope to see some traffic on here. Lets begin with this, if you have been accepted and will be attending this fall, post an alias or first name, research interests, a brief introduction and what you are most excited about (or anxious about) the upcoming fall, program, or campus in general, I'll go first: Aaron I/O Psych Research interests: Resilience, Personality, Burnout, Termination, & Employee Selection Other Research Interests: Social Interaction and Relationships in General, Childhood Maltreatment, Trauma, Sexology, Psychology Involving Pets, Environmental & Genetic Predictors to Adult Outcomes (+/-), Sociology & Anthropology (inequality, justice, and cultural differences mainly). As I mentioned, I completed my undergrad at UWO. I am somewhat of a geek. Outside of school I enjoy playing the guitar, watching movies (I have a thing for the horror genre), bike riding, rollerblading, camping, and playing dungeons and dragons. I have a wonderful 2 year old Siberian Husky named Loki who is incredibly well behaved and affectionate. I am most excited about learning skills directly applicable to my future career. Your turn!
