Awaiting John Hopkins MS CS results

Hi,

A short intro:

I am a B.E. Comp. Engg. from Univ. of Pune,India with 61.55 % cumulative Grade Point Average.

I have around three years work exp. in companies like Adobe India and Nvidia Graphics (India).

My scores are as below:

GRE-1400 (780q + 620 v)

TOEFL-113 ->Listening 29 ,rest all 28

Writing - 4.0

I started B.E. in 2004 and should've completed it by May 2008 but due to a couple of persistent backlogs (one from 7th sem and one from 8th) I passed out finally in May 2009.

I have applied for MS CS Fall 2011 to 8 Univs. (mostly state univs.) including John Hopkins , Baltimore.

Have received 7 straight rejects from:

ASU, Cornell , GaTech (even though their research projects are very much related to the technology (mutli-processor systems) I am currently working on at Nvidia), UMich- Ann Arbor, UT-Austin, Univ. of Minnesota (Really? is it THAT good? This was my only Safety School!!) and UPenn.

ASU says my GPA is low, others have not specified why they rejected even after following up on email?

Should I go ahead with application for Fall 2011 to SyraCuse and UWashington (there deadlines are June 1 and July 1)?

I am AWAITING John Hopkins results before I start to apply for Private Univs.(like IIT,Chicago or TexasTech) for the Spring 2012 session! Are these private univs. any good for an International student like me?

ANYBODY ELSE OUT THERE AWAITING JOHN HOPKINS RESULTS FOR MS CS?
