myacu Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 I just graduated this spring but this summer I am taking a community college course for my own enrichment. Because I have already graduated, do I need to show this transcript on my grad school application? The course isn't a requisite, but I would rather not have to reveal an embarrassing grade, especially because I have a strong gpa from my undergrad and the class is out of my element: I have BA in econ taking Multivariable Calculus (first time since high school)
emmm Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 I do not recommend hiding that you took the class. If you do not think you will do well in the class, take it as a P/F class or audit it. You are required to send ALL transcripts to any graduate programs you apply to.
GardeningGrad Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 E-mail the program administrator and ask for guidance - that's what they are there for! I took college classes in high school and was prepared to track down that transcript, but I asked the admin first and he said not to bother.
