pavitra Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 hello guys, am new here...i have a query and i hope someone can answer me clearly since i dont know how to deal with the situation..i have a friend who did BSC in biotechnology and she wants to shift to MA journalism.she has no work experience in journalism,no knowledge of the subject but she's depending on my BA mass comm text books to read up about it and gain knowledge to get a clear idea of what it is and which specialization she wants to choose.does she have any chance to make it into journalism grad school if she applies?i dont want to lead her on in this issue and give her false hopes about makin it.please do reply if y'all have any idea.
ktel Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I think if she gained some work experience and a strong writing portfolio she could have a shot. An ex-boyfriend of mine was interested in specializing in science/technology related journalism so he did an English major and Biology minor.
