crowng Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Hi Guys, Im doing my MS/PhD program in BME.. from one of the relatively newer schools in Florida...Florida International Univ at Miami I dont intend to get into academia...as I feel Im not cut out for it, and with all due respect it does not interest me !! The question I have in my mind though is that..what are the job prospects in the industry for a PhD in BME ?/ Do factors like the school being new may be hence not so highly ranked, or how well known the advisor is his/her field come into play with regards to getting a job?? Pls give me your views/opinion..ASAP !!! Thanks !!
