Jimmy McNulty Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 I am interested in applying to PhD programs at NYU, Vanderbilt and UCLA, among others. I am interested in education policy, migration and comparative education. However, my undergrad grades are good but not outstanding. I intend to do a Master's program here in Europe before I apply to a PhD program in the states. My question is: will my choice of institution have an impact on my admissions chances when it comes to applying for a PhD in the USA? I will do the Master's at one of the following universities: - University of Bath, UK - Institute of Education, London - University of Exeter, UK - Trinity College Dublin, Ireland Does it matter which one I choose? Thanks
