Hi,

I need suggestion!

I appeared for gre on july15, 2011, I scored 1160.

Maths:800, Verbal: 360

My Field: B.tech Electrical Engg.

Interest: Control Systems

CPI: 6.1/10

Please suggest me, is it possible to get admission in any university among top 50 in us or so?

We need more information. The GRE and GPA are not the only aspects of your application that adcomms consider. Have you done any research? How do you feel about you LoRs. I can already tell that the English profficiency sections (the TOEFL and your SoP) of your application will be your weak points. Work on these sections and maybe post an SoP for us to consider.
