andrewduhan33 Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Hi I am new to these boards. I had a question for those of you who have taken the revised GRE. I understand there is an expiermental and research section. The research section clearly states that their section is optional and given at the end. However is there anyway of knowing where the expiermental section is ? Is this section the second to last section on the test ? Thanks.
lottesnk Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 (edited) Nope. There's no way of knowing what or where the experimental will be. You'll either get an extra quantitative or verbal section. Even if you suspect it's the experimental section, answer it to the best of your ability. It could actually be the regular scored section, and you don't want to shoot yourself in the foot. orst11 Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Nope, there is no way of knowing, so if you are given an extra section you have to try just as hard. What I have tended to notice just by reading on here is that you typically are given an extra section on what you are having a harder time with.
