Löb'sTheorem Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 (edited) I recall seeing that having taken a graduate course in complex analysis as an undergraduate and done well is a particularly good indicator that you will do well in a graduate program and sticks out; more so than other graduate courses. I'm not sure if this is true, and it doesn't totally seem sensible to me, so can anyone tell me whether this is or is not the case? Edited August 21, 2011 by Löb'sTheorem
Riem Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I've never even heard of that before. I'd imagine what sticks out more is doing well in grad courses related to your intended field.
