bodywithoutorgans Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 What should one include in a CV that will be attached to grad school apps? My understanding is as follows: include honors/distinctions, published articles, conference participation, and relevant work/research experience. Am I missing anything? Thanks so much! Best, Matt
Origin=Goal Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 If that info fills up enough space, I think you covered the important parts (obviously, in addition to where/when you graduated, degree info, contact info, etc). I'm also listing relevant courses for a few classes whose content can't be understood with quick reference to the transcript (i.e. certain seminars and two grad courses)
bodywithoutorgans Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 Good call about the courses. I need to get a copy of my transcript to understand better the way that class/seminar info is conveyed. Is length or filling up space something to seriously consider here?
virion Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 I would say no, unless you're having trouble with white space on the first page.
