I'm looking for inspirational articles/speeches for graduate students to do great things.

I think there was one like that a while ago but I lost the link. The speaker was either a mathematician or physicist who talked about his past, of working with great people and why some of them could push the boundaries and invent but others were not. He cited one example of a guy who had great ideas but problems expressing his ideas and another who spent every hour in the library reading other people work instead of spending his time to work on figuring out problems and finding solutions.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
