Hunter College Interview....

Hi,

I have a scheduled interview for admission to Hunter's Accelerated Program beginning Spring 2012. Is there anybody who has also been scheduled for an interview? If so, I am interested in "practicing" with someone to prepare. That is, brainstorm possible question scenarios, etc.

Unfortunately I opened your post too late to participate in practicing. I'm in the same boat, waiting for the interview for admission to Hunter's Accelerated OYR program. Assuming that you had already taken the interview. How did it go? I'd appreciate any information regarding it.

Hi, I applied to Hunter's school of social work for the accelerated program. I submitted the application a couple of days before the deadline, and about a week later, my transcripts were matched with the application. How long should I wait before I assume they aren't going to invite me for an interview, as they haven't yet- what is the timetable for applying and receiving an interview for the spring semester?

Hi! I applied to Hunter beginning of Oct, heard back from them the last week of October to come in for an interview. Went for an interview on Nov 2, and received acceptance on Dec 5. Hope that helps you try to figure out a timeline for yourself!

I also applied for the accelerated program (which was due by oct 1). I have since deferred my admission until the fall 2012. But to sum up the answer; it took them about a month to ask me for an interview. Don't know about anyone else. good luck!
