jmatrix Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Hello everyone, First time I've ever been to this site (first post), but seems like I could get some good advice here. I don't know where I should rank my schools, or if I can even get into any of them. Ideally, I'm most interested in Illinois' Master of Finance program. I'm not exactly sure where I should be aiming though with my background. I graduated with a very poor GPA of 2.6, although from a top 20 school. I've got some very good internships in finance under my belt and am taking extra grad classes at UChicago in hopes of rectifying my gpa problem as best I can. I scored a 760 quant and 550 V on the GRE this past summer. Is a school like UIUC in reach? Is any MSF program in reach with these stats? Anyone know more about selectivity in mid-tier Finance programs?
