Optional CV Upload

All three of the applications I'm doing have an option to upload your CV, but they all say something along the lines of (optional, if you want, etc.) None of the application info pages on the individual programs I'm applying to say anything about a CV being required, or even if they look at it. So, should I upload a CV? How important is it?

Would a CV include information that is not elsewhere in your application or would it add value to your application at all? If so, you should definitely upload one. If your CV would not include much of value, then you can skip it.
