davide291982 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I was recently accepted into the Environmental Policy Sustainability Management program at the New School, and although I was excited at first, I have my reservations and was wondering what other people thought. This program is new; the program's first semester was this fall 2011. I received a 40% scholarship and my grand total will be around $33,000. I am interested in sustainable development and have worked in the UN system for almost 2 years. However, because I am an interested in international work, I am not sure if this degree will be beneficial when looking for international jobs. I was thinking about the MPA in environmental policy at Columbia University, but the issue there is the cost. In addition, I would need to buckle down and study for the GRE and take some science classes to have a shot at getting in. Does anyone have thoughts?
mercy91 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Hi, Totally a long shot since it's been YEARS since you posted, but wondering how this panned out for you? I was recently accepted into Milano's EPSM program and am waiting to hear back from a couple other schools (Columbia included), so would love some insight, considering a) I'm sure you have some wisdom on this under your belt now and b ) apparently very few people on GradCafe are doing Sustainability Management programs in NY! All the best.
