vermo Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 I've submitted all my applications and when I looked at my SOP today, I got panic since I found that there was a mistake there: When I talked about my research experiences, I said that I started working as a research assistant since January, 2012, which should in fact be January, 2011. I also found when talked about this experience in my CV, I wrote ' Winter, 2011- to present ', which should be winter semester (starting from January, 2011)... I'm wondering if I should write emails to the schools to have my SOP and CV updated... or just leave it?
AriesPP Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 you can ask for updating your document, but different schools have different policies
rainy_day Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Is it before the deadline? I had a typo in one of my apps, and resent the docs. I was told they couldn't remove my original documents, but could add the new ones as an addendum. I was also told that little typos like that aren't taken seriously. good luck!
